What is the mission of the Original Med Gala?
The Original Med Gala was created to celebrate, uplift, and support minority medical students. This year, three students were hand-selected by the Founding Core Collective to receive financial support, with all event proceeds going directly toward their educational journey.

What’s included with my Gala guest pass?
Your guest pass includes event entry, light fare, an open bar, curated art, and the opportunity to support and celebrate the next generation of medical leaders.

Is the event affiliated with Married to Medicine?
Yes. The event is proudly supported by cast members of Married to Medicine, who serve as the Founding Core Collective and are deeply involved in this initiative.

Will the event be filmed or photographed?
The event may be filmed or photographed. If so, guests will be asked to sign a simple waiver on site.

When will the students receive the funds?
Students will be honored at the event with a ceremonial presentation. Funds will be distributed following standard processing and compliance through our charitable giving structure.

Can I support if I’m not attending?
Absolutely. You can still purchase a ticket or donate. Every contribution directly supports the selected students.

Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, your purchase will still go toward supporting the mission.
